Synopsis
THE LADY is an epic love story about how an extraordinary couple and family sacrifice their happiness at great human cost for a higher cause. Luc Besson began his career in cinema in 1977, working as an assistant director on a number of films both in France and United States. He managed to position himself as one of the few French directors with a truly international scope.
