About registration
Visitors
Visitors to the festival do not need to register. With the exception of the opening and closing films, tickets for all screenings are available publicly.
You do not need to be a registered festival badge holder to apply for access to Seminars. Simply apply via the website under SEMINARS → RESERVATION FORM
All events at Centennial Park are public.
Members of the Press
Members of the Press who register via this website will:
- Get access to the facilities of the Press Centre at the InterContinental Hotel, official festival venue.
- Get access to the press events
- Be eligible for press tickets to see the films. (These are limited, and on a first come, first served basis.)
Press registration is only available for officially accredited members of the press.

If your registration is accepted, we will contact you with details of how to collect your badge, and press packs.
Industry guests.
If you are employed primarily within the film industry, you may register for a Guest Badge and pack. You will also be given priority in any applications for access to seminars and special events. Please note however, that a Guest Badge is not an all-access pass, and we cannot guarantee that you will be given access to individual events or seminars, as some are very popular, and likely to be oversubscribed.
Please note that there will be only limited press registration on the first day of the festival, and this will not be available for members of the press representing websites, blogs and online news. For this reason, and to avoid delays and queues, you are STRONGLY advised to pre-register, using the press registration form on this website.
